Program Enhancements:

• The DASD Free Space display feature has been enhanced to support volume serial number matching via a pattern using asterisks (*) to represent zero or more characters, and a percent sign (%) to represent a single valid volser character. You can also precede the DASD free space lookup argument with a single slash (/) to indicate that volumes matching that argument are to be excluded and not shown on the resulting display. For more information, see lookup item DASD-VOL-PATTERN in the MVS/QuickRef R7.8 data base.

• The QINFO command has been enhanced to show, in the "Central Processing Unit Specifics" section of output, the number of CPUs online and the number of zIIP and zAAP specialty processors online. The "SU/Sec" and "MIPS" values, previously reported as a running total by individual CPU, now appear as a single total based on the number of online non-specialty CPUs. The last z/OS IPL date for the system MVS/QuickRef is executing on is also displayed.

• The DASD free space DSN list display now properly supports and identifies PSE (Physical Sequential Extended) data sets.

• The position of the 'Vol' and 'Command' fields on the DASD Free Space display panel QWIKREFC has been swapped so that the 'HOME' key used during TN3270 sessions will move the cursor to the 'Command' field rather than to the 'Vol' field.

• The 'Bottom of Data' and 'Bottom of List' lines that appear as the last line in all MVS/QuickRef output displays are now properly centered and span the entire width of the current ISPF logical screen.

• The DCB attributes for MVS/QuickRef printed output are now hard-coded in MVS/QuickRef code as RECFM=VBA, LRECL=300, BLKSIZE=6000 and therefore cannot be overridden via JCL.

• All fixes issued against MVS/QuickRef R7.7 have been integrated into this release.
